About Rhubarb Roots
Rhubarb Roots, Past & Present is a compendium that covers the history of rhubarb in the world and in the Sumner ~ Pullalup valley. The history is revealed through a series of posters, displays and artifacts. It relates interesting and fun information about the "pie plant" and it's importance to the area's agricultural heritage.
The purpose is to bring an historical and educational element to local events that celebrate the rhubarb industry and to honor the areas designation as the second largest provider of rhubarb in the nation.
